Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks is a complimentary service that will search, negotiate and book your hotel block for your out-of-town wedding guests. Our team of licensed meeting planners with over 30 years of experience negotiating hotel contracts will save you time, energy, and money by leveraging our relationships to get you the best deals and rates at any hotel worldwide.


2.  What is the benefit to brides/couples?

Free service- we are licensed meeting planners worldwide and our fee is paid for by the hotel so there is no fee to use us.  As our volume of business is so great, you will get a better deal using us.

We do all of the legwork ( hotels don’t get back to customers, surprise, but we have a special software that we have created that talks to the hotel sales departments at all major branded hotels , we can get back to you in 48 hours with rates and availability at all of your hotels of choice)

We get the best deals due to our volume of business (12,000 request per year from us to hotels, mostly in the NY area , including Long Island) and we pass these amazing deals on to our couples

We protect our couples meaning, we are hotel experts, and we utilize this expertise to negotiate the best contracts for our couples with the most favorable contract clauses for our couples


3.  How did you get involved?  

I am a former hotelier and the opportunity to work from home was a no brainer!  All of us work from home and it gives us the flexibility to work hard all day and be able to have a great quality of life and spend time with our families!


Is this service available only to brides or to the general public as well?

Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks is an affiliation of LM Media Worldwide.  LM Media works with corporate clients, associations as well as non-profit organizations.  They will help you find a location for the event, find the best hotel in that area and negotiate the contract! We work anywhere in the world with any type of group getting the best deals on hotel rooms, conference spaces, meeting spaces, food and beverage functions and audio visual needs , we do it all and get the best deals, we are not just wedding blocks!


5.  You mentioned that all Hotel Blocks professionals have a "hospitality" background (of some sorts)...of what benefit is that to brides and couples and is that a requirement for being part of the Hotel Blocks team?

Most of our planners worked on the hotel side before working for KHB.  Knowing the “hotel lingo” and being able to walk the couple through a hotel contract is super important.  It is not a requirement to work for the KHB Team!  Being hospitable is #1!


6.  How are your services different from what Expedia and Trivago do?

When you come to Kleinfeld Hotel Blocks, you get a real person hand holding you thru the hotel block booking process from start to finish, at any of the online travel agencies such as Expedia and Trivago, you are just plugging in a date and they are spitting out a rate, no service is provided.  You will also certainly get the worst room in the hotel closest to the elevator with the worst view, when using KHB, you get a group block room which means you will get a nicer category room and be taken care of as a group block not a one off transient guest. We also get group discounts that are for blocks of rooms 10 or more, OTAs only handle individual reservations, we get the best deals.


7.  What other services, if any, does Hotel Blocks specialize in?  For instance can you make the bookings for the couples honeymoon getaway etc? 

We do it all, Bachelorette rooms, Bachelor Party rooms, family reunions, honeymoons, destination weddings, etc, anything that is 10 or more guest rooms on any given night, we can then work with you to get a group discount tailored to your specific needs.  We also help with the next day brunch and rehearsal dinner at the hotels of your choice, if requested.
